 The WHAM! (no UK in the UK) LP Make It Big was released last November
in the the UK - just in time for the Christmas market. If you liked this
LP you should get their first one, Fantastic, released about 2 1/2 years
ago. At that time the boys still had street credibility, hence some
pretty crucial songs about being "young, talented and unemployed" (eg.
'Young Guns Go For It' and 'Wham Rap'), and their later stuff is quite
bland in comparison in my opinion. 'Club Tropicana' is an indication of
their impending transposition to the land of cocktail parties and false
sun tans, but is nevertheless an excellent track. I hope nobody I know
is reading this.
