I think the sounds are terrific for a synth in that price range ($1400-1800) despite the fact that there is only one oscillator per voice. I'm interested in interfacing the DCB directly to a micro -- has anyone out there done anything along those lines? I've got a Radio Shack "co co 2" but I'm thinking of getting something bigger soon (the Atari 520ST looks really interesting!) I've heard good things about the Roland MPU-401, but I'm really not interested in buying any kind of interface - I'd just as soon do my own hardware and software... I think this newsgroup is fantastic, by the way! I'm glad to see it's taking off... -- Joe Morrison, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada -- -- -- -- decvax ! -- -- -- -- allegra ! watmath ! jdmorrison -- -- -- -- -- ihnp4 !
