There's a love to last you a lifetime. There's a person as caring as any you've known, But it's something that you'll never find. Cause it's never the way you dream it is When nothing's real anymore, And the love that you dream, And the dream that you live in Are something your life can't afford. There's a piece of mind in the back of your head. There's a silence that comforts and soothes, And you think that you might win this damn human race, But in real life you're just gonna lose. So those dozen red roses are just gonna wilt, And the love of your life won't be there, And the piece of mind in the back of your head Is replaced with pain and despair. Cause it's never the way you dream it is When nothing's real anymore. And the love that you dream, And the dream that you live in Is something your life can't afford. Karen Bain 8/78 (whew! must have been a depressing month!) I would like to say thank you to everyone who sent comments and/or compliments. I somehow wiped-out my mailbox and didn't know how to get back to you! The comments and/or compliments were well appreciated... Thanks again! K.B.
