Sunshine Village near Banff, Alberta regularly stays open until the
end of May (sometimes mid-June).  The reason that is often given for
closing at those times is that there aren't enough people coming out
to the hill to justify staying open.

The conditions in the Canadian Rockies are supposed to be very good 
this year.  I'm going out April 18'th for a week and will let you
know first hand when I get back.
