Last year Camel cigarettes sponsored a series called the Camel Sprint Series. They held clinics and let people try for speed under controlled conditions with timing etc. I am afraid I haven't read many ski mags this year so I don't know whether they have the same thing this year or not. It usually happens in march/april when the icy frozen corn snow is fast. I wanna try. Any info on this would be interested. I already have a pair of 223 downhill skis, a helmet, and all the courage I need, point me to the 60 degree plus pitch so I can go fast without getting the mass media upset by flying down the rec slopes. t.jones
