I know that for me, it all feels so much nicer when I concen- trate on the good things that I have going for me. I've got to admit that I have my off moments. I mean, life in a body cast isn't simple. Like this morning, when my friend, Bill was leaving to go find a wedge shaped pillow for me and get pick up some food. As he came around the end of the bed to kiss me, he tickled the bottom of my foot. Seems trivial doesn't it? I DO NOT like to be tickled. And since I am in a position where I can't do anything to get away, it upset me. Now, I could let it continue to bother me, or I can just do something more fun, like read the news or play rogue. Not to mention the reading that I have set out to do. Really I'm pretty lucky, I mean, the weather was real nice up until the day that they put me into this cast. I was able to lay in the sun and read. With the Spring rains upon us now, it will be easier for me to take being confined like this. Also, my life is certainly full of stuff and friends. (I missed cross country this year, though.) No one of us goes through life without pain. But there are so many good things going on and so many things to enjoy. It is selfdefeating to not focus one's energies on trying to recognize them. All the good things are there. We just have to see them. GO Rain!! 'Makes my flowers grow.! Look on the bright side, there IS life. Annadiana Beaver A Beaver@Tektronix A while back, someone had brought up the prospect of using the net as a group encounter. I thought (think) that's what it was (is).
