     Several weeks ago I posted an article asking for suggestions, 
and ideas about how or where to meet women to date.  Here is a 
summery of the mail received: 

     Activities to meet people: Dance class, Cooking class, classes
in general, Sierra Club, Political campaign volunteers, Free 
university, Friends of the Zoo, Bars, Parties, Through friends, 
Laudromat, Sport leagues, Wedding receptions, Work, 
     Subscription concerts (you sit next to same folks all the time!),
     Get involved in as organization or club (the best, because you 
have the chance to be around a person before you make any moves.)
     Sport leagues, soccer club, volley ball, etc...

     Advice:
     The first date should be kept to a "just friends" level.
     "Take a little risk" and "throw caution to the wind".
