But holy shit, if you HAD a kid, you'd have to deal with them when they were being little brats, you wouldn't be able to go someplace and leave them in the apartment for a couple of weeks, etc. THEN, they'd start growing up and getting big noses and everything, and not even being cute anymore (It's at this point that they start hating your guts). No, Dave, my advice to you is to get your siblings to have kids. Then you get all the benefits of having kids without the disadvantages.
