Enlightenment in this newsgroup in the past has come on such subjects as the significance of certain kinds and colors of flowers, and now on neckties (I presume that's what we're talking about. :-), subjects on which until then I was blissfully ignorant. I have in the past noted that on occasion the position and style of rings varied in no readily discernable pattern, and wondered whether it was the observer (me) or the wearer who was unaware of what, if anything, was being communicated.
