Providence got 3 first period goals off the shakey BC goalie Gordon. The win puts Providence into the National Championship. Again, the Friars were outskated, outshot, and out-passed. Yet, behind the hot goaltending of Chris Terreri, for BC, it was Turn Out the Lights. Providence won at 33 seconds of the third overtime as Yeomlakis knocked in a Paul Cavallini rebound. That's it for now. Tonight's game features RPI vs. Minnesota-Duluth. This match-up, in my mind, IS the national championship. The game will be broadcast tape-delay by ESPN. Tim Newman
