In the episode "Who Mourns for Adonis", Leslie Parrish played
Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas, who falls in love with the Greek
god Apollo (sp?).  After Kirk makes a little speech about "human
flesh and blood", she spurns him.

What's even more interesting is in the novelization (sp?) by
James Blish (in Star Trek 7, I believe), the tag for the episode
is that she is PREGNANT!  It doesn't say what her eventual 
decision is, however.
