My question is: How did Khan come by this proverb? His only previous encounter with the 23rd century was with the Enterprise 15 years before. He tells Chekov on Ceti Alpha 5 that he has been marooned so I would think that he had no other contact with the outside world. Did his wife start quoting alien proverbs before her death or what?! Did the Reliant have a library file on nasty sayings? When did he have time to read them? :-) Any thoughts on this (or does anyone care)?
