"The Good Life" was a short-lived series starring Donna Mills and Larry Hagman
(both of whom have, interestingly enough, gone on to be featured in late-night
soaps) as a husband and wife who decide to chuck their suburban lifestyle and
take jobs as the butler and maid for a wealthy old man (played by the talented
David Wayne).  They figure it'll be a life of luxury (living on the estate,
driving snazzy cars, etc) but soon find out there's more to it that they had
thought.

Fairly standard sitcom... good casting, though.
