One time I looked at the output I was receiving and quit before going any farther (I was getting a rolling copy) and the other time I continued since I seemed to be getting a decent signal most of the time. In both cases my Beta unit was recording, even if the output signal was rolling. I don't know if this is because my Sanyo recorder was one of the lower priced units or what... if I understand what people are saying I shouldn't have gotten anything at all when I tried to record a copy- guarded tape. As for copying to a Beta, when I did this a while back most of the tapes I tried to copy were not copyguarded. -- -=<>=- Sean L.
