I don't know of too many people who can see through house paint! It really works, although the consequences can be quite drastic... I don't quite see how this works. You see, if you throw the ornament straight up, it is still traveling at the same speed as your car. So what exactly makes it slow down in mid space and wait for the truck behind you? Of course air resistance will help this, but this will be minimal on a smooth object like a ball.
