(Since '77) I'd like to bring up a topic that has little to do with the private pilot, but none-the-less has intrigued me for many years... The topic for tonite is "airships." I have long been fascinated by airships: blimps, derigables, zeplins. (This may have something to do with the fact that when I was 6 I went for a ride on the Goodyear blimp...anyway...) What I'd liek from the net crowd is a rousing (or so-so, at least an opinion) discussion on the topic of bring back the airship for use as a cargo ship and as a pleasure liner for passengers... Viable? Trustworthy? Is it a navigation hazzard for small craft? The ball is in your court... -- --- Rob DeMillo Madison Academic Computer Center ...seismo!uwvax!uwmacc!demillo / =|-- = \ = [][][] "...I don't know what this thing does, but it's pointing in your direction."
