Too many better alternatives. Try getting across the Atlantic by ocean liner these days -- they've all gone the way of the dodo bird. People will take cramped and noisy over slow any time. The city of Tempe looked into airships for the police a few years back. Figgered the police could sneak up on the baddies. They decided it wasn't feasible. I don't remember why. There is still some possible application in "heavy lifting", like some big helicopters.
