However, for you avbuffs who live further south, this may be informative. South County - South Santa Clara county in Morgan Hill. Visit the Flying Lady restaurant and museum. Call from the airport and they will pick you up. The food is so-so, the decor is tacky, and the whole place is pretentious. You'll never forget it. Ried Hillview and Livermore airports both have Red Barron restaurants on site. Nut Tree is a great place for some afternoon fun. A narrow gauge railroad will take you from transient parking to the restaurant. There are many shops and aviation paraphernalia for sale. Half Moon Bay - Park as close to the warf as you can and take a short walk through the woods. Shore Bird restaurant is highly recommended. Also, there is a mini fisherman's warf. Calastoga - Land to the North and take of to the South. A short walk into town with many goon restaurants. Practice your short/soft field landing and takeoff technique.
