Has anyone a fix for this? Update on trying to set up sendmail under 2.9: The sources are indeed included (in /usr/src/ucb/sendmail), and they seem to be intact, and one small version behind those that we got with 4.2. It was obviously never tried before releasing 2.9; lots of things need to be fixed. I changed the Makefile to use the -DV7 option, make use of bmove.11.s, remove the assembler hacking, and add a -i option to the load to make it fit. I had to add bzero and bcopy routines. I fixed Wizword in srvrsmtp.c, and changed conf.h to undefine LOG, SMTP, QUEUE, and DAEMON. This yielded me a sendmail that would load; unfortunately, trying to build the vanilla uucp-only frozen config file caused a core dump. Any hints? I think deleting the options out of conf.h was correct, but what else might have gone wrong? Thanks for any help. Lyle McElhaney ...denelcor!lmc
