Over the weekend(Apr 20), MOTAS was looking for some sealing wax to use on letters. For those who may have never seen it, sealing wax looks like a candle made of plastic or hard wax. It will burn poorly or not at all in the standard upright position. It is used to "seal" a letter in an attempt to provide visible proof of opening/tampering. You see mail with sealing wax on it in movies that are set in times >100 years ago(Yes, I know, a flair for the anachronistic). Anyway, MOTAS has a great deal of difficulty in locating sealing wax. Does anyone out there know of sources, either at stores(SF Bay area) or mail-order? The Hallmark stores that we have looked in have had very poor to nonexistent selections, and sometimes we get strange looks when we ask if they have it. Kchula-Rrit !menlo70!nsc!nessus
