I was more worried about the bike being stolen or vandalized which is covered under liability, than I was about crashing. I figured if I crashed and I was hurt my work insureance would cover medical bills and the bike was cheap enough (<$2,000) that it wasn't a real huge loss like a car. This saved me about $300-$400 a year in premiums. -- Chris Barbay
