State University, Raleigh Lines: 33 I have been trying to install V2.00 of Vax Emacs and have had a few problems. I am running UNIX 4.2bsd and have adjusted the config.h and Makefiles accordingly, we will use VT100 terminals. When I run the 'make compile' it runs fine until it gets to the following line: ld :D.term/Trm.a -ltermcap -o temacs and then gives me the following errors: Undefined _ReadFromKeyboard _sindex :fastvax.o multiply defined Of course when I run the compiled temacs, I get a Segmentation fault and the core is dumped. I have doubled checked the set-up of the config and makefiles with respect to the distribution layout and they seem to be correct. This seems to like an old unix bug but I can't remember for sure. I have looked to and fro and have not been able to solve this problem. I would appreciate any helpful suggestions. I'm sort of new at this but I'm learning in leaps and bounds. Sorry if this ther is a 'real obvious' answer. Please mail ideas to me, instead of posting to the net. Thanks in advance. Jamie Evans NC State University decvax!mcnc!ncsu!jle
