This should be private mail, but I don't know how to get to cadovax. It looks to me like you are writing a vi emulator - something I would give my right thumb for. I started this before, but the rich ex command set thwarted me - how do you handle :.+5,/Pokey/move?Gumby?-5 for instance. The undo command, with its potential for undoing huge changes, also seems difficult inside Emacs. If you are successful and willing to distribute it when you're done, I'd love a copy.
