If you can't afford kids, don't have them! I have my hands full supporting my own. > cheaper rates on lots of things, etc.; I mean, anyone who doesn't Huh? Where do you get this cheaper rates crap? I know businesses offer discounts to younger ones to attract the business of the parents, but only if it is economical. At Christmas, when airline seats were scarce, I had to pay full fare for a five and three year old. Besides, since these are theoretically private enterprises, you don't subsidize them. > just absolutely adore children must be some sort of scumbag, right? Just intolerant. I realize that your greatest embarassment is the fact that you, too, were a kid once, and no doubt caused your own parents some grief at times. [Unless of course you were perfect, like me :-)] > The response I have gotten to complaints runs like: " I have my > rights, too, which I define to include letting my kids run amok". Sounds like your complaint is against inconsiderate parents more than the kids. Consider the other side of the coin... my kids think adults are a few bricks short of a full load in restaurants. They see adults arguing in loud voices, pinching the waitresses, laughing a lot, and generally having a good time - just like kids do! Or, you might decide to join the pro-abortion group, and fight to make it retro-active to 18 years of age! [:-)] Then again, when you grow up you, too, may decide to have kids of your own!!!! -- Frank Dibbell (408-746-6493) {whatever}!amdahl!canopus [R.A. 6h 22m 30s Dec. -52d 36m] [Generic disclaimer.....]
