     My imfamous classmate has it stuck in his head that POP is called soda.
The actual name is soda POP. So either is acceptable depending upon what 
part of the country your in.  
     BUT why oh why is Shasta's commercial do they say

  "I wantta POP...."

     As with my classmate(?) you may send me mail and scream at me or post it
and agree with me.
