Announcement of the 28th EUROPEAN GO CONGRESS

Time: July 20 - August 3, 1985.
Site: West-Terschelling, a village on the Frisian Island Terschelling,
	  a North Sea resort bordering the Dutch Shallows (Wadden in Dutch).
Entrance fee: Dfl. 100 (full period, less if staying shorter);
			  Dfl.  25 under 18.
Accommodation: All sorts, contact Miss Bousquet (see below).
Tournaments: - Main tournament: 1st and 2nd week. 9 rounds MacMahon.
			   Winner is OPEN EUROPEAN CHAMPION 1985. First prize has
			   a value of about Dfl. 2500. (* Players of 3-dan and above
			   can only play the full period of two weeks; weaker
			   players may play any number of games. *)
			 - Weekend Tournament: July 27 and 28. 5 rounds MacMahon.
			 - Lightning Tournaments.
			 - Match Europe vs. Asia.
			 - Handicap Tournament.
			 - Town-team Tournament.
