My brother noticed this car parked in our neighbors driveway, and people he didn't recognized taking stuff from the house out into the car. He thought this strange, so he called the police to check out the situation. By the time the cops arrived, however, the thieves were gone. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. The cops left. The thieves came back for the second load! Call the cops again. Cops arrive and give chase. One or more escape pursuit. Cops are hanging around, taking statements. Thieves drive by to see what's happening, and my brother yells, "There they are again!" They got them this time. This really happened. -- Louis A.
