I don't remember seeing PC-Source advertising one for $649...you might want to check with them...usually PCs Limited is cheaper. Anyway, I also traded in one of my floppy drives (it has to be a full height Tandon or CDC, working) for $80 off...so my cost was $615. I'm very happy with the drive. My system is noisier than it used to be, but I don't mind the sound: its more of a fan noise than a high-pitched whine. I hear that the sound varies somewhat between drives, though. -------
