It is therefore not a good idea to run two monitors simultaneously, unless you can convince yourself that the maximum current consumed by the monitors is less than the maximum current rating for video output. The sum of the current maxima for each monitor should do nicely. Note that we're not talking about information loss here, just potential electrical difficulties/damage.
