In the Feb, 1985 issue of Outside Macintosh (yes, I mean it) on Page 4 (last 
paragraph) there is an indication that Apple will provide Developers with a 
speech synthesizer program for trial.  Has anyone received it, or figured out 
from where to request it?

Also, in the same issue on Page 7, there is an offer of several 
"international" utilities.  Has anyone seen them?
