However, several of the INTERPRETERS on the market, notably Microsoft Basic V2.0 and MacPascal, seem to offer the ability to use windows, controls, menus, etc. in a rather straightforward manner. Has anyone seen a COMPILER which performs the same 'ease of programming' services, hence allowing the programmer to concentrate on his PROGRAM rather than on the innards of the Mac, while still gaining the execution speed and independence of a native mode program?
