Friday, April 12, I received what is supposed to be the released "new finder." It is version 4.1 and comes complete with many pages of documentation, a combination desk accessory & font mover, and an installation program which apparantly installs some new resources into your system and imagewriter files. You can place files/applications on the desktop. You can throw away multiple dimmed disks. If you throw away a non-dimmed/non-system disk, the icon is removed from the desktop and the disk is ejected. I have been gone all weekend and have only played with it for about 30 minutes. Other than the above mentioned additions it seems to be pretty much like the other new finders floating around (3.2-3.8). Dealers should have them in a couple weeks (or so they say). Fred A.
