The errors always occur when the system is sitting idle at the DOS prompt. When the message appears the system locks up (can't reboot with alt-ctrl-delete) and I have to power off. My system configuration is: 384k memory (64k on motherboard, remainder on AST six-pack board) DOS 2.1 ROM BIOS upgrade 2 Teac half-height drives color graphics adapter Qubie 10 meg hard disk with external power supply Any insights on the source of the message (DOS or BIOS?) and possible remedies are greatly appreciated.
