OK folks, just to set the record straight
again, Imus did NOT write "Well I Don't
Care if it Rains.....".  It was written
by one Al Higgins from New Orleans in
the early 50s.  The name of the song
is "Plastic Jesus".  I have a copy from
an old songbook in front of me as I write.
There were 6 original verses with many
more added at various times, mostly
scatalogical in nature.  Should I get
over my current bout of ennui, I will
post the original 6 verses.  The song
was popular back when I was in college.
