My favorite along these lines is supposed to have happened here at UT a few
years back.  In front of our campus ROTC building there stands a fair-sized
missile, symbol of whatever random militaristic impulses its detractors and
supporters wish to attribute to it, mounted at a 45-degree angle.  One night
there suddenly appeared next to it a similarly shaped penis made of pink
papier-mache.  The UT cops were put on red alert and managed to get the
offending object out of sight before it would corrupt the minds of thousands
of innocent students, but I think it made its point anyway.
