Message-ID: <1393@bbncca.ARPA> Date: Wed, 17-Apr-85 14:08:30 EST Article-I.D.: bbncca.1393 Posted: Wed Apr 17 14:08:30 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 18-Apr-85 03:31:15 EST Reply-To: msimpson@bbncca.ARPA (Mike Simpson) Organization: Bolt, Beranek and Newman, Cambridge, Ma. Lines: 21 Keywords: CompuServe, CB I just got a subscription to CompuServe (ostensibly for the Apple users' group, the MAUG), and while stumbling around, I came across the CB section. Flipping through my "How to Get the Most Out of CompuServe", I found that Channel 33 had been designated (by its users) as 'the gay channel'. Well, that was much too interesting an opportunity to pass up, so I dove in. Ninety minutes later, I'd made several new friends, put down at least one self-proclaimed homophobe who came in under the handle "Fagbuster II" (no, I'm NOT kidding), and become hopelessly hooked. (It was also 2:45 am when I hung up -- YAWN!) Anyhow, if there are other CompuServe CBers out there, drop me a line or chat on the CB. I'll be broadcasting with the handle "OJ". -- >> don't shoot me, I'm just trying to be helpful ... << Mike Simpson, BBN msimpson@bbn-spca (Arpanet/Internet/CSNet) {decvax,ihnp4,ima,linus,masscomp,sunybcs,wjh12}!bbncca!msimpson (Usenet) 617-497-8196 (Ma Bell)
