E. Randolph (Washington Post) this morning writes that the Dallas Times
Herald has cancelled "Joe Bob Goes to the Drive-in" due to a satire
Friday ("We are the Weird") which went "over the line" according to
Times Herald editor Will Jarrett. Two hundred people came to the paper
to protest and a front-page apology was printed yesterday.  The
column's author, John Bloom, evidently will continue to write a sports
column "Jock Talk with Joe Bob".

Joe Bob says "I've checked out".
