According to a schedule from the local university:

    Murder by Decree - USA - 1978 - 121 min.
	Starring: Cristopher Plummer, James Mason, Directed by: Bob Clark
    Sherlock Holmes is hot on the trail of Jack the Ripper in what is widely
    considered the best Sherlock Holmes film ever made.

It was shown a few weeks ago, and I didn't see it.
