When I listen closely to the instruments being played in a variety of
popular music (Eagles, Steve Goodman, Emmylou Harris, many many
others) I often notice harmonica adding a lot, in a subtle fashion, to
the song.  I'm often impressed by the skill of the player(s) -
sometimes very complex note sequences, emphasis and phrasing from what
seems like a simple instrument.

Can anyone suggest any records for a nascent harmonica fan?  I'm not
sure if I'd like "solo" performances - I guess I could find out.
Perhaps some music in which the harmonica plays at least a major role.
