In addition to being a very good recording in the orchestral sense (the vocal soloists don't do a particularly good, job, though), it is one of the the great Wagnerian conductor's last recordings. Also, I am currently singing the piece with the UC Glee Club, University Chorus, and University Symphony. Anybody know some recordings that don't sound like 'music-minus-one' recordings with the chorus tenor part missing (high As forever...)?
