I've worked with regular fiberglass and a bit with kevlar (all in the course of repairing a Pearson Ariel). Kevlar is very tricky. It's hard to get the resin to soak into the fibers, and of course, it's hell to cut. Thus, there seems to be a much higher risk of delamination.
