[lists for $745] APELCO (Raytheon) Ranger 420 microprocessor controlled 5" chart recorder. 200KHz. Has built-in illuminated LCD digital depth readout (you can read the depth all day and night without using any paper). Keyboard control of all functions. Any depth range from 10' on down, in 10' increments. Has selectable Bottom Lock (watch only the bottom regardless of contour). Has White Line. Has Zoom (expand any area between surface and bottom). Has marker button. Has clear plastic rain cover. Used one season. Still under flat-rate warranty by any authorized service station. Transom mount transducer, extra paper and stylus, owner's manual and schematic included. I have followed the bottom with this recorder in 500'+ of water in the Gulf of Maine, recorded lake trout in Winnipesaukee at 40', and largemouth bass at 8'. It is sensitive enough to record most LURES! It will record the thermoclines. I'm only selling it to get a recorder that will interface with my LORAN, and can demonstrate it until the new one comes in. Art Hebert 603-673-6940 (home) Amherst, New Hampshire. Email golly::hebert
