The words of Paul ARE the words of Jesus..... or isn't the Bible the inspired word of God? Maybe we could say that Matthew was just the writings of Matthew, I mean Jesus never wrote one word of the Bible with His own hand. If sayings are hard, well, maybe we don't quite understand or we don't want to... The epistles are not the writings of Paul but of God Himself. About the quotes regarding braided hair. I think the principle there is not to look like prostitutes, because they were the ones who wore all the jewelry and braided their hair.....it's not that women can not braid their hair. karen
