After the Lakers ended the Nuggets' 20-game home winning streak last week at Denver with a 118-104 victory, they proved who is the Number 1 team in the Western Conference with a incredible preformance at the Forum last night in a 148 (!) - 119 blowout. It was quite a game to witness: I don't think I have ever seen the Lakers play any better in the first half of a game in my life (they had a 78-44 lead at the half!). I'm telling you, it was *SHOWTIME*, and the Nuggets are not a bad team. But the way the Lakers were playing, NO ONE could have stopped them. It's clear to me that the Lakers are hungry to avenge their Championship Series losses of the past 2 years and will be ready when it comes down to the Finals this year. ----- Bruce Kovalsky ..!trwrb!trwspp!spp2!kovalsky "How do you make a small fortune in the stock market?"
