The two guest speakers were Majel Barret Roddennberry and Nichelle Nichols. Both were very entertaining and spoke well. Majel told some stories about Gene and Nichelle told us about her involvement with NASA and the people that she did recruit for NASA and have taken Shuttle flights. I was very impressed with both of them. It is good to see that TREKKERS are still alive and well! I do plan to attend another convention when I am able. Nichelle also stated that she has a movie coming out very soon. Watch for it. Also, she has recorded some music for ST that will also be released soon. Nichelle did mention something about Star Trek IV. She said that a story is not fully developed yet, but L. Nimoy will direct, Shantner has signed and the whole crew will be in the film. She also indicated that the film will not be a downer, but a fun film. No other details were given. Apparently, Kirk will get out of his difficulties and the rest of them will be exonerated. If you wish Dr. Chapel and Commander Uhura to have more to do with the next film, both of them urged you to write to Paramount. Sometimes they do listen to fans. I bought a poster of the late updated Enterprise. It listed it's top speed at warp 12 (for those of you who still don't know). "Live Long and Prosper!" Michael N.
