Yesterday as a filler on The Movie Channel, I saw a film short that
reminds me of something I saw or read once, but I can't remember where
or when to save my life.  It would make a good 5 minute twilight zone,
but I'm sure that's not where.  Here's the gist of it:

A man in his office calls his home.  The maid answers.

Maid:	Hello
Man:	Who is this?
Maid:	I'm the new maid, sir.
Man:	Oh, my wife said she was going to hire one, we haven't had
	a chance to meet...(etc,etc,causal meeting talk).  Is my wife there?
Maid:	Uh, (noises from the background, couple seen running from room
	to room half-dressed).
Man:	Has she got a man there again.
Maid:	(hesitatingly) Yes, sir.
Man:	Listen, I want you to do something for me.  Open the drawer
	there in the desk.  What do you find?
Maid:	A g-g-gun, sir.
Man:	Here's what I want you to do: go in there and shoot that
	$#&@$* and her &$^@&$ lover.
Maid:	Oh, sir, I couldn't. (etc,etc, pleading, doesn't want to, but
	isn't shocked by the idea, either, thinks woman deserves it).
Man:	Sure you can...(eventually convinces her).
	(Maid goes in, fires two shots, tries to hide the gun, finally
	runs outside and throws it in a pond in the back).
Maid:	It's done.
Man:	(relieved) Good.  Where'd you put the gun.
Maid:	I threw it in the pond out back.
Man:	What pond?
Maid:	The pond that's behind the house!
Man:	Uh, sorry, wrong number! (hangs up)


Well, I'll be.
   ...LEAVING, what a good idea.
