I haven't watched for awhile, but today's (4/11/85) Asbury Park Press had an 
article that stated that Quint and Nola (Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown) were 
being written out of the show.  Brown didn't renew her contract, and the 
producers felt that Quint wasn't worth the storyline alone.  They will be sent 
off on an expedition, only to be heard from in letters.  Too bad.
