Lines: 68 (Tuesday and Wednesday) First the dirt, then the sad news. Angie went over to Yvonne's to take the box of stuff. She caught Jesse and Yvonne in bed together. She ran home and Eugene was there to comfort her. Jesse came in and tried to make up with Angie, but she told him that they were no longer married. She also mentioned that Eugene had been the one who suggested she go over to Yvonne's. Jesse ran out of the house to Benny's to have it out with Eugene. They got into a yelling match, but Benny broke it up. Tad found out about Bob! He sneaked into his father's medical records and found out that Bob was terminal. He confronted Hillary, but she still would not change her mind. Then he went to talk to Bob about it. But Hillary showed up to stop him. Instead, he asked Bob for $50 to pay off Edna (she wants $100 from Tad by sunset). He earned the other $50 at the boutique. He's still threatening to kill Zach. Later, he was at Benny's and saw Linda there. He had an argument with her about what a lying, cheating, etc. girl she was. She told him he was stupid to give that kind of money to someone like Zach, especially when Tad knew nothing about the investment. Tad threated to kill Zach, again. After he left, Linda called Zach to warn him about Tad's threat. He just laughed, then told Linda not to call there anymore. She wanted to come back, but he's still refusing to have her around until the business is concluded. They sure are dragging out this murder plot. Ross had a talk with Cynthia at The Goal Post. They acted like they were having a fight, but she handed him a key (to Zach's? to a safety deposit box?) during their words. He's supposed to be meeting Zach with the money, but Cynthia told Tom Cudahy that "she had to keep a clear head tonight, 'cause she's got a lot to accomplish," or something like that. What's she going to do? And she also mentioned to Ross that she still wanted to kill Zach. Ellen is beginning to suspect that Ross may be cheating. She's very suspicious that he never lets her answer the phone. Also, he told her that he was talking to a business contact, but when Ellen mentioned to Adam that Ross had gone to meet this guy, Adam said it was impossible - the contact was in Los Angeles. Ellen got pretty upset, but is hoping she misunderstood the man's name when Ross mentioned it. Brooke brought Benny a picture of her daughter to thank Benny for saving her from the kidnappers. She broadcast a big story and told all and now she's becoming a hero. She's really glad to be back in circulation again. She also showed Benny her engagement ring and told him that when she and Mark were being held, they weren't sure if they'd come out of it alive, so they exchanged vows and married themselves. Benny is definitely in love with Donna, but I don't think she's returning hes affection. Now, for the saddest of all - Mike died today (Wednesday). It was really sad. Erica had gotten the rings, the license, and the minister so they could be married this afternoon in the hospital. All of a sudden, the doctor rushed out and told her to come quickly - Mike's condition was deteriorating rapidly. Erica ran in and held Mike's hand. Mike's last words were "I'll always love you, Eric..." (he never got out that last 'a'). She threw herself on him and tried to revive him, screaming MIKE! The doctors came in, but they couldn't save him. They left Erica alone in the room with him and she cried and told Mike how much she loved him, how she doesn't know how to live without him, etc. Then she slipped the wedding ring on his finger. It was beautiful - I almost cried (really!). Poor Erica. She'd finally gotten the first man she truly loved, she was becoming a real person. It's going to be rough for her to keep the good she's acquired from being with Mike. --- Karen ---
