Does anybody know of a way to make plot (or know of a version that can)
draw it's plots on a 'regular' terminal (like a vt100) using 'regular'
characters (*|.-+/\ etc.)?  Somebody here claims to have done it long
ago, but I can find nothing that leads me to believe it can talk to
anything but graphics specific devices (tektronix terminals, versatec
plotters, or even [yeech] diablo terminals).

More importantly, does anybody even care?  :-)
