VAXIMA is no longer distributed, as it was at one time, by Berkeley.  The 
rights to MACSYMA were sold to Symbolic and VAXIMA infringed those rights.
An earlier, public-domain version of MACSYMA is available from Argonne Natl
Lab, which runs the National Energy Software Center for the US Dept of Energy.
Their address is 9700 S. Cass Ave., Argonne, Ill 60439 (312) 972-7250.  You
also get MIT's NIL (Newly Implemented Lisp) and MACSYMA runs interpretively
on top of NIL.  Better expect to limit MACSYMA to one user at a time, cause
it is a real hog.
